Youth Garden Project Workday! The Youth Garden Project is gearing up for summer and we want to get an idea about days and times that would be ideal for volunteers to come out to the garden. But we want to hear from you! Would you be more likely to volunteer on a weekend day? Or during a time on workdays that is after 5pm? Please, send us your feedback and then I will be sending out a YGP schedule soon.
The next work party for the Youth Garden Project is from 10-2pm on Sunday, June 29. The YGP garden is located in Starker Arts Park, just south for the intersection of Country Club Dr. and 45th. So please come join us for a great day of working in the garden! Tools and gloves will be provided but please bring plenty of water. During the summer we are going to have a staff member out at the garden during the day for five days a week. This will allow volunteers to be able to come out anytime during those days to volunteer in the garden. We are likely to have a schedule that runs anywhere from 9am-6pm. And the days will either be Mon-Fri or Sun-Thurs.But we want to hear from you! Would you be more likely to volunteer on a weekend day? Or during a time on workdays that is after 5pm? Please, send us your feedback and then I will be sending out a YGP schedule soon. -- Pamela Monnette Garden and Nutrition Coordinator/AmeriCorps P.O.
